Red, blue, black and white,
The morning birds are all aflight.
Singing songs of morning cheer,
Their precious song draws me near.
Buds of color on dead trees wave,
Pulling life up from the grave.
Winter fights to keep holding on,
But, all earth signs cry out, “Be gone!”
Purple, yellow, pink, and white,
Your scent, sweet flowers, bring such delight.
The sky intermingles blue and white,
Setting aside all signs of night.
Attempts of the sun to heat and shine,
Remind me of God’s glory divine.
Gray sweeps over pushing brightness away,
Attempting to steal the joy of the day.
But beauty is found in all things I see,
Come, open your eyes, and walk with Me.
